The Sports Coaching Pathway is delivered and assessed online at Sevenoaks Senior College, incorporating coaching and officiating opportunities in a range of sports, both at the College and within the community.
This pathway is one of your first steps toward your chosen career in the sports coaching industry. You may progress to:
- higher level qualifications, and/or
- working or volunteering in assistant coaching roles at community-based sports clubs and organisations.
In Year 11 and 12 students will enrol in:
- SIS20321 Certificate II in Sport Coaching^ over two years,
- Physical Education Studies (General – multisport, soccer specialist or volleyball specialist),
- an English course,
- Workplace Learning (ADWPL), and
- two other courses or a certificate of their choosing.
^ During 2026, students are enrolled with Australian Institute of Education and Training RTO code: 121314 through a Third-Party Agreement between the RTO and Sevenoaks Senior College.
