Sevenoaks provides a comprehensive support system for students’ career development and academic progress.
This includes:
- Dedicated Careers Advisor: You can find our Careers Advisor’s office at the rear of the Hub, where you can seek personalised guidance to help navigate your career path and goals for the future in Year 11 and 12, and post school.
- Achievement and Progress Coordinators: Our Year 11 and Year 12 Student Achievement and Progress Coordinators also call the Hub home. They provide individualised planning for students to assist them with their academic goals, as well as support with OLNA, WACE, assessments and examinations.
- Information Technology Resources: Our Hub is equipped with desktop computers and laptops for students to utilise for study purposes, all featuring the latest Microsoft and Adobe suites. Printing is also available here.
- Library Resources: A range of academic texts, fiction and nonfiction books are available for student loan. Check out our monthly Library displays for inspiration. Our Librarian can assist with any book, study or research related questions.
- A Quiet Place: A safe and calm space for students to enjoy. This space is best used to study and unwind; read a book, play board games, quietly reflect on studies and manage workload. A dedicated silent room is located at the back of the Hub for students who need a space to focus.
- Other Support: The Hub is also the place to go for SmartRiders, lockers, and information about upcoming events such as the Ball and Presentation Ceremony.
Our structured and welcoming environment is designed to foster student success by offering essential resources and support in one central zone. The Careers and Information Resources Centre is open daily, including before and after school, and break times.
