ATTENTION SSC FAMILIES:
The WA Student Assistance Payment is back, and you will soon be able to claim $250 per student to help towards school-related expenses.
To apply, you’ll need to provide a valid WA Student Number (WASN). You can find that number on your child’s SmartRider, school report, or NAPLAN results. You can head to http://education.wa.edu.au/wasap for more information on eligibility and how to claim.
The payments will be available through the ServiceWA app. More info about the app is available at http://wa.gov.au/servicewaapp
You can submit your claim via:
– the ServiceWA app by logging in with your Digital Identity
– an online form available at education.wa.edu.au/wasap/alternative-claim-methods
– a postal form, available to download and print from education.wa.edu.au/wasap/alternative-claim-methods
Claims are open from Monday 20 July to Friday 25 September 2026.
