If you are unsure about which pathway to take, have an idea of one or more careers you may be interested in, and want to explore different options, then the Exploration Pathway is for you.
This pathway is designed to assist you to:
- investigate a variety of different careers or post school options to see what might be right for you,
- explore and experience the world of work, and
- develop work readiness skills
In Year 11 students will enrol in:
- a relevant certificate/s or courses offered on campus and/or apply for a TAFE VETDSS certificate,
- Career and Employability Skills (General),
- an English course,
- Workplace Learning (ADWPL), and
- two other courses or certificates of choice.
In Year 12, it is expected that students will continue with their program at Sevenoaks to achieve their desired pathway, or leave to enter the workforce/further training.
Please note that this pathway is personally designed. Consequently, a WACE may or may not be achieved, depending on your choices. In addition, this pathway may take three years to complete.
