Creative Industries

The Creative Industries Pathway is designed for students who want to explore their creative passions through a variety of different courses delivered and assessed at Sevenoaks.

Choose this pathway if you:

  • enjoy creative courses but are unsure about which pathway to take,
  • are interested in pursuing a career in creative industries, and/or
  • want to immerse yourself in creative pursuits to find your future career.

This pathway is designed to assist you to:

  • engage with a range of learning areas to identify and/or develop your creative skills,
  • develop work capabilities in creative industries as a technician, assistant or entrepreneur, and
  • prepare for further training and education, leading to creative industry roles including music, art, design, graphics, arts management, gallery director, therapist, audio/sound engineering, entertainer.

In Year 11 and 12, students will enrol in:

  • CUA20620 Certificate II in Music^ over two years OR another certificate of your choice, including those offered through the VET Delivered in Secondary Schools program at TAFE (students must apply directly to TAFE by the closing dates),
  • an English course,
  • Workplace Learning (ADWPL), and
  • three creative courses of their choosing.

^ During 2026, students are enrolled with COSAMP (P K Y Media Pty Ltd) RTO code: 41549 through a Third-Party Agreement between the RTO and Sevenoaks Senior College.
