Deadly Sista Girlz is delivered by strong Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander role models. These mentors offer a stable environment and aim to engage, educate, and empower girls to make positive choices for their health and futures.

Support for students in the Deadly Sista Girlz program at Sevenoaks includes:

• having a trusted mentor present and available on the school grounds, helping to build routine and achieve goals.
• building self-esteem and confidence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identity to making practical cultural contributions in the community.
• positive social interactions, building relationships based on mutual respect and encouraging active self-development.
• yarning about sexual and women’s health, drug and alcohol abuse, road safety, healthy lifestyles and healthy relationships.
