Teachers as Course Specialists

Our teachers, who are experts in their respective fields, play a pivotal role as course specialists. They provide personalised support within the classroom, ensuring that students grasp the curriculum and are challenged to reach their full potential. By using a vast array of teaching strategies, our teachers cater to the diverse learning needs of our students.

Advocates for Individual Support

In addition to classroom support, each student is paired with an Advocate—a mentor who takes a proactive role in monitoring their academic progress and attendance. Advocates regularly review each student’s performance, offering guidance and intervention when necessary. They serve as a crucial link between the school and home, communicating with parents/guardians to address specific concerns and celebrate achievements.

Year 11 and Year 12 Student Achievement Coordinators

To further enhance our support system, we have  dedicated Student Achievement Coordinators for both Year 11 and Year 12. These coordinators provide consistent and targeted support, working in tandem with teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians. Their role is to ensure that every student is given every opportunity to succeed and to assist them in navigating the challenges of their senior secondary years.

Our coordinators also play a strategic role in identifying students who may need additional assistance and coordinating efforts to provide the necessary resources and support. They are instrumental in creating a culture of success and encouraging students to ‘Find Your Future.’
