The Sevenoaks ‘Young Adult Ethos’, places the responsibility for subject changes in your hands.  

Subject change forms are attached or available for collection in the front office. Please ensure you fill out the correct form for your year group (year 11 or year 12). 

There is a list of subjects and teachers available in the Front Office. You must find the teacher of the subject you wish to move in to and have them sign your form before Ms Trayler will look at your change request. 


1. Pick up a subject change form for your appropriate year group.

2. Speak to a teacher of the subject you wish to join, to discuss what is required for you to catch up in the subject. Have the teacher sign your form as well. Be mindful of the fact that many classes are currently at capacity. A teacher signature is not a guarantee that you will move into that subject.

3. Complete & submit the form with ALL the required details, including parent/guardian’s signature. Incomplete forms will be handed back to you to resubmit when complete.

4. Requests will be dealt with in order of submission, so get in quick. 

5. During the change process you may be asked to make a subject change appointment by the ladies at the front desk. Appointments will only be made for students who have completed the process correctly, and only during your free zones.

6. Changes will only be open for 1 WEEK & can only be finalised where movement is possible.

NOTE: Last day to submit change of subject forms is Monday 27th February – no extensions. Please see Ms Trayler if you have any questions.
