Update to our College Timetable – Wednesday & Friday changes

The community spread of COVID-19 is now impacting schools. The Department of Education has encouraged all schools to do their best to create spaces for students to reduce overcrowding in areas and to maintain social distancing to minimise close contacts. Our aim is to reduce the potential amount of COVID-19 close contacts.

As a result, there have been some very small adjustments to our College timetable on Wednesday and Friday to assist in minimising the close contact of students.

Zone 6 on Wednesday and Friday has been moved next to Zone 5. This adjustment takes away the second break from 1.10-1.40 pm. Recess has been extended by 5 minutes (now 25 minutes total).  Zone 7 on Friday has moved to Zone 1 where it was last year. Students will now finish at 2.15pm on Wednesday and Friday, 20 minutes earlier.

The café will remain open from break one until 1.40 pm as per normal. During this time students can get their food whenever they have a free zone or at the first break.  

There are minimal classes affected by these changes to Zones, however students with timetabled classes in Zones 7 on Friday are encouraged to collect a new timetable from the Front Office.

The College timetable on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday remains unchanged.
